Client: Sweetheart Cup Corp. Ice Cream Box — CLIO Award
Problem: Design a consumer ice cream box to stand out on visually competitive super market shelves.
Solution: I created an ice-cream store counter with the photograph, and
wrapped that image around the box. With different flavors on the back, I essentially made a box with two identical fronts. So that when stacked on the shelf, a WIDE billboard effect was created. Glenn Gemmell — Art Director

Children’s Toy Store logo designed for Goodwill, their parent company
Problem: Goodwill wanted a way to provide children with gifts that were less expensive than they typical retail price. So they purchased slightly dinged toys for this stand-alone store. Solution: It was a toy outlet but there was no reason to make this logo anything other than FUN. We’re providing children with cool toys! So, I used this wacky elephant, and created red dimensional text to convey as much fun as possible. I even had elephant footprint static clings on the floor leading to the new product section. What a blast! — Glenn Gemmell Creative Director, Art Director
Problem: the goal was to build awareness quickly, using a billboard in this instance. Solution: I designed a superior billboard with the hanger hanging on the type. Fun isn't it. — Glenn Gemmell Creative Director, Art Director
J. Brian’s Tap Room 3D sculpted wooden signs
Problem: The customer needed two signs for outdoor use, to quickly convey this as being a PUB. Solution: I designed the sign to have variable thicknesses. The horizontal gold banners were 1 inch thicker than the shield and boarder, and those were 1/2” thicker than the black background. It was VERY cool. And the gold was gold leaf. — Glenn Gemmell, Creative Director, Art Director
